First Steps: Prerequisites (Version 3.5)

To use GoldenCheetah you have to install it on your PC. Downloadable versions of the current and older releases are available for Windows, MacOS and Linux from the download section of the GoldenCheetah website.

Once you have installed the software on your PC, you can run it, it doesn't need any specific configuration before you start.

GoldenCheetah can also be compiled directly from code available on the GoldenCheetah GitHub. There are guides/examples for compiling from source (RaspberryPi, Linux, Windows) in the GoldenCheetah Developers Guide as well as in the root of the GoldenCheetah GitHub repository(INSTALL-MAC/INSTALL-LINUX/INSTALL-Win32).

Please be aware that this user guide will not provide any further information about these options, but assumes that you have installed an official final build.
