If you are having issues with crashes as startup it may help to disable embedding R or python.

This is often due to running a version of GoldenCheetah which is not compatible with your installed version.

At startup, pass the following on the command line:

• --no-r to disable embedded R
• --no-python to disable embedded Python

Once you are up and running, you can disable these permanently in preferences, or you may install and configured the right versions using Help > About > Versión to see which were used to build Goldencheetah.

In macOS the open command allows to add parameters, for example: $ open /Applications/GoldenCheetah.app --args --no-r
