About the feature

The Temperature Behavior described below applies to firmware v1.3.0 or newer:

Keep the Goal Zero Power app up to date for the latest features and support.

HOT on the LCD and flashing, along with the thermo icon.
- Activates when:
  - 🌡️ While discharging, battery cell temperature warms to 63º C. Will stop when cooled to 58º C.
  - 🌡️ While charging, temperature warms to 47º C or higher. Will stop when cooled to 43º C.
  - 🌡️ At start of charging, temperature is 45º C or higher. Will stop when cooled 41º C.
  - 🌡️ At any time, battery FET temperature warms to 73º C or higher. Will stop when cooled to 63º C.
  - 🌡️ At any time, inverter temperature warms to 90º C. Will stop when inverter cools to 80º C.
Thermo icon appears solid.
- Activates when:
  - 🌡️ At any time, battery cell temperature warms to 42º C. Will stop when cooled to 39º C.
  - 🌡️ At any time, battery FET temperature warms to 63º C. Will stop when cooled to 53º C.
  - 🌡️ At any time, inverter temperature warms to 65º C. Will stop when inverter cools to 55º C.
  - ❄️ At any time, battery cell temperature cools to 5º C. Will stop when warmed to 8º C.
COLD on the LCD and flashing, along with the thermo icon
- Activates when:
  - ❄️ While discharging, battery cell temperature cools to -18º C . Will stop when warmed to -15º C
  - ❄️ While charging, battery cell temperature cools to 1º C. Will stop when warmed to 3º.

- Activates when:
  - 🌡️ While discharging, battery cell temperature warms to 58º C. Will stop when cooled to 53º C.
  - 🌡️ While charging, battery cell temperature warms to 50º C. Will stop when cooled to 46º C.
  - 🌡️ At start of charging, battery is temperature is 45º C or higher. Will stop when cooled 41º C.
  - 🌡️ At any time, battery FET temperature warms to 73º C. Will stop when cooled to 63º C.
  - 🌡️ At any time, inverter temperature warms to 90º C. Will stop when inverter cools to 80º C.
