The plan is to make a gum-stick sized circuit board to fit on the side of the arm. This would be a number of connectors for servos and sensors with one to three I2C chips.

I2C has been chosen to eliminate wires that would otherwise need to be run to an Arduino. The design would need two wires for data and two wires for power.
