Desktop enviroments, or DEs are enviroments that addon GUI or shells onto the normal GlassShell. The known DEs will be listed, and documentation and portations will be on this wiki article.

TurtleGUI

A coming portation of TurtleScript's TurtleShell GUI. The first alpha release is still in alpha, and is coming very soon as we used a bugged version of TurtleGUI in some versions of 1.05. The release data however, is unknown and cannot be downloaded.

GlassX

The future of DE's for computercraft, a look-like interface of early Mac OS. The developer has not confirmed development, since it has been paused. The release and download have not been confirmed either.

CraftBang for GlassShell

Enjoy Glass with a wonderful environment. As this is only and built as a DE, for CraftOS. It fits perfectly with CraftBang. This is the recommended version that users should get. You can install it manually, but not supported by using the CraftBang forum post. It is currently in beta stage for optimizations for the GlassShell.
