These are steps to follow in order to set an email as the public email associated with a GitHub Account.

1. Login to GitHub
2. Navigate to your GitHub Profile page. This can be done in either of two ways, 2a or 2b.
   2a. Click the icon of your profile picture at the top right corner. This should bring down a menu. Click Settings. Click the Profile tab under Personal Settings in the left-hand menu bar.
   2b. Navigate to https://github.com/settings/profile
3. Under Public Email, select the email that you wish to use as the public email for your profile. If you wish to add multiple email accounts to your profile, these can be managed under https://github.com/settings/emails. Once an email is added, it will be selectable in the Public Email dropdown menu within Profile.
4. Ensure that you click the Update Profile button or your changes will not be saved.
