Collaboration

If you are willing to collaborate with the Giswater project you can do it in four ways:

  • Developer: Are you interested in being part of a growing community? Get in touch with us and we will explain how to participate in the community: [email protected]
  • Website: If you are interested in translations of the website into your language, please contact: [email protected]
  • User's Manual: The user manual is being updated on github. If you are interested in collaborating with the translation, you are invited to do so using the common Github protocol.
  • Software: The only piece of software that you are invited to translate using Github are the QGIS templates (project and composers). You can do it using Github's pull request protocol. To translate the remaining pieces of the Giswater software, we have developed an easy to translate environment. If you are interested in participating, contact [email protected].

Forum

If you would like to clarify your doubts about the usage of Giswater or start a discussion about a specific topic sign up and participate on the Forum.

Donations

If you would like to help the Giswater Association to pursue its goals, such as developing and promoting a free and open-source software so that engineers all over the world can better manage the integral water cycle, you can make a monetary contribution to improve a free platform that doesn’t involve any contractual commitment with manufacturers or distributors. There’s a membership program which allows monetary contributions aimed at people or organizations that want to support the project without having to be part of the association with the following membership levels: large, medium and small. For more information check out our website.

Giswater association membership

If you would like to have an active role in terms of the Giswater Association, such as having the right to freely participate in the Assemblies with voice and vote, or participate in all the activities of the Association, send an e-mail to [email protected] showing your interest to become a member.
