We're a couple of geocachers who created another app for geocaching. We created the app because it suits our needs better than other similar apps. We just want to make our app available to other geocachers. We have no commercial interests.

Our app (CacheBox) does not collect any personal data.

This app (CacheBox) collects location data to enable ["Route recording"], ["Proximity alarm"], & ["Geocache search"] even when the app (CacheBox) is closed or not in use.

We are using location data as we get them to show you your position relativ to the shown geocaches and then we forget them. In case of "Route recording" switched on by you, you see your route on the map and it is stored in a file on the private area of the app (CacheBox). The geocaches are normally hold by groundspeak on geocaching.com and you need an account there, if you don't enter new geocache-data (coordinates) manually. Groundspeak has its own privacy policy at https://www.geocaching.com/account/documents/privacypolicy
