Context
By order of the Tennis Club “Windisch Hills” we accepted the assignment to build an interactive webpage, assessed the feasibility and went on with the deployment in interchange with the client.
Introduction to our client Tennis Club Windisch Hills
Established by Alfred Meier in 1984, Windisch Hills has always aimed to be an authentic and accessible tennis club. From the early days, we offered training for junior players and hosted smaller regional tournaments. Nowadays we are a household name for tennis in the canton of Aargau and collaborate with professional trainers for a great atmosphere and to create a safe environment for learning tennis. The club is now managed by four players who were taught by Alfred Meier himself, continuing his legacy as a Swiss tennis legend.
Tasks & Goals
We were tasked to build a demonstrator in order to get an idea of design possibilities and functionalities. This would then become the basis for further backend development by a web application company.
In order to meet the requirements, a project management plan was initiated, which we will elaborate later.
Primarily, the webpage offers a platform for the Tennis Club to express itself in the most authentic way possible. The main features are the reservation of playing slots, the display and introduction of the different courts and the presentation of the coaches.
