Why Multiple Repositories - GetPoplog/Seed GitHub Wiki

Some very quick notes about why we have multiple repos. At some point these will be merged together.

Because the build process was built from FreePoplog's build scripts and that process does 3 separate downloads: one for the 'base', one for the 'docs', one for 'packages', I captured 2 of those (Base, Docs) as repos directly, with the intention of directly tracking FreePoplog, knowing that that split made little sense (Base is arch sensitive, Docs is not). Since then FreePoplog has merged Base and Docs, so we have too.

The Seed repo was separate because I didn't want to merge my stuff with the FreePoplog stuff. The Corepops repo was separate because it is basically a database of executables & a repo only by coincidence.
