Best Practices:

• Let enterprise logins take care of preventing unauthorized access after a student graduates or a staff member leaves.
• Let their content stay indefinitely, as others may be dependent on it
• If shared with Everyone, they can still get access to it
• Managing (copying/cloning) content could be a complicated and time consuming task, which is better left alone.
• Wait for Esri to implement functionality that supports true archiving and cloning (copying)
• Consider using ArcGIS Online Assistant to move content from one organization to another
