Meeting Agenda

Minutes:

Attendance: George, Andrew, Sonali, Chuyu, Fraser
Customers: Linnea, Smita
Observer: Jamie Ferguson

Introductions given

Andrew gave a short presentation of the basic site layout

Fraser gave a presentation of the PowerPoint, holding all the information gathered so far by the team

Discussion followed after going through the customer's comments for the PowerPoint and the following notes, clarifications and observations were made:

  • Users will have the ability to edit any information uploaded through an Excel file
  • Users will have the ability when exporting results to choose all students or some
  • User will be able to add individual comments for each student
  • Lecturers need to be added as a variable for each course
    • The team and the customers agreed that the lecturers could later on be linked to course modules and assessments and the system's access rights
    • A diagram will be drawn by Linnea and forwarded to the team to make things clearer
  • Users will have the ability to modify course grade calculation algorithm
  • Customers advised team to constant chemistry IT
  • Customers informed the team that they no longer have to implement fully Good Cause and NDP, instead they would like toggle buttons with color coding to make it clear that a student has been affected by Good Cause or NDP
    • Customers would also like the ability to apply NDP to all students for a particular assessment
  • Customers informed the team that a single lab mark will be provided instead of multiple as discussed in earlier meetings
  • Brief note on Resit exams The team and customers agreed that this could be discussed in a future meeting
  • The team agreed to host a prototype when available and give access to the customers in order to find bugs and limitations

The team and customers agreed to have a meeting after the exams to go through some of the spreadsheet examples and give a further update on the project
