This meeting mainly focussed on some Q&A about the dissertation

Q: Any general tips for the dissertation?

• Introduce your goals, objectives, any hypothesis early on and got into greater detail later
• Try to achieve the right level of complexity when writing. Do not go into great detail about matters that are not really important

Q: Should I aim for 40 or 30 pages?

• Shorter is better
• Just write as much as you need. No need for a page goal

Q: What should the design section include?

• Given the nature of the project it would make sense to combine the design section with implementation

Q: Should I use the moodle pages to check for plagiarism?

• Yes

Q: When should a first draft be ready?

• 2 weeks before the deadline
• The supervisor will make some general comments about the flow and the arguments
