To make the site as transferable as possible in the case we scale up the project into Progeny, the portal should display minimal real estate developer specific design features. Features that are specific to the developer, such as the logo and name, should be designated as such, and the elements should be potentially classed in a way that will make them easily changeable. This is a key reason to use SCSS
Significant steps are needed to make this project modular, which will take place once Progeny is in development. It will require a Style Classification System to Enable Modularity Using css variables, we need to identify which factors should be modularized for a scaling up of the project so their imagery, text, files, fonts and colors can be switched out. While this system will not be developed at the MVP stage, it is important to take this future development into account in order to make the code as portable as possible.
