Save and load session - Genometric/GeMSE GitHub Wiki

Use the following menu items to save and load a session:

File -> Save Session
File -> Load Session

The following information are saved/loaded as a session:

1. Loaded samples and reference files. Therefore, a saved session can be opened independent from the loaded samples and reference files. This feature facilitates sharing session.
2. The entire history (aka state transition tree). To minimize a session file, GeMSE only persists transitions, history tree, and its root node.
3. Columns and rows labeling preferences.
4. Heatmap preferences (e.g., color settings).
5. Last browsed directory.
