First, give the weapon a name and add a BRPID
There is a lot of information to enter
- Damage - there are three damage fields - one for each of three ranges. You only need to enter damage if the corresponding range field is completed
- Range - enter up to three ranges
- Type - select the type of weapon
- Damage Bonus - select the type of damage bonus that applies to the weapon
- Skill Options - select the skills that the weapon uses - the second skill can be "none". when the weapon is on a character it will link to the skill with the highest score. This doesn't apply to NPCs, where you enter the skill score on the NPC sheet.
- Attack - Enter the number of attacks
- Special - select the type of special damage the weapon does
- Radius - radius of the explosive (only if the Explosive toggle is on)
- Hands - select the number of hands the weapon needs (not for Artillery weapon type)
- Crew - select the number of crew needed to use this weapon (Artillery weapon type only)
- AP - enter the number of armour points the weapon has (Artillery & Shield weapon type)
- HP - enter the number of hit points the weapon has (not for Shield weapon type)
- STR - enter the minimum STR the weapon needs (not for Artillery weapon type)
- DEX - enter the minimum DEX the weapon needs (not for Artillery weapon type)
- Rate of Fire - enter the RoF for the weapon (if weapon type is Firearm, Energy, Artillery, Missile or Heavy Weapon)
- Ammo Cap - enter the maximum ammo capacity (if weapon type is Firearm, Energy, Artillery, Missile or Heavy Weapon)
- Ammo Type - enter the type of ammo (if weapon type is Firearm, Energy, Artillery, Missile or Heavy Weapon)
- Malfunction - enter the malfunction score
- Price - select the price category
- ENC - enter the encumbrance of the weapon
- Current Stored Power Points - the number of magic points currently stored in the weapon
- Maximum Stored Power Points - the maximum number of magic points in the weapon
- Coverage - enter the areas the shield cover (Shield weapon type only)
There are number of toggle Options
- Parry - you can parry with this weapon
- Burst Fire - weapon allows Burst Fire
- Choke - weapon does choking damage
- EMP - weapon causes an Electro Magnetic Pulse
- Entangle - weapon entangles the target
- Explosive - weapon causes explosive damage
- Fire - weapon causes fire damage
- Pierce -weapon reduces the armour protection by half
- Poison - weapon causes poison damage
- Sonic - weapon causes sonic damage
- Stun - weapon can stun the target
When added to an actor sheet the following information is available:
- Actual ENC - the actual Encumbrance is displayed factoring in the equipped status
- Status - is the weapon being carried, packed or stored. Only weapons that are carried count to encumbrance
- Current HP - enter the current HP of the weapon
- Current Ammo - enter the current ammo for the weapon
- Quantity - enter the number of weapons
You can also enter a description on the second tab, add Active Effects on the third tab and GMs have access to a GM Notes tab.
Note: When adding a weapon to a character, if the character doesn't have any of the skills, one will be added to the character
