Successful Checks - Genii-Locorum/brp GitHub Wiki
Your GM can turn on Auto XP in the game settings. If they do this and you make a successful check in the circumstances set out below, then your "Experience check box" will automatically get ticked.
- POW v POW roll where the target has higher POW
- Skill check where the difficulty is not Easy (or value is greater than 1). This includes Magic Spells, Psychic Abilities, Allegiance Checks and Personality Trait Rolls.
- Opposed rolls where the difficulty is not Easy (or value is greater than 1). This applies to any party to the roll making a successful check and applies to each roll separately
- Combined rolls where the difficulty is not Easy (or value is greater than 1). This is applied to each roll separately.
Armour, Damage, Resistance and Characteristic Rolls don't get XP checks added. It is therefore important to use a POW v POW roll rather than a Resistance roll for POW when it is a POW v POW check.
