When creating the item you only need to enter the item name and add a BRPID.

You can also add a description on the "Description" tab and the GM has access to the "GM Notes" tab.

When added to an actor sheet you can then enter a base score. Reputations do not get XP.

Note: You can only add reputations to a character if the Reputation Game Setting allows
