Start by giving the Profession a name and add a BRPID.

There are then two sections to complete - Skills and Optional Skills Groups

Skills Skills dropped in this section are those that will be added to the character sheet when the personality is added. You can drop Group Skills here. You will see the skill name along with either the base chance of the skills, "var" if its a variable base or "group" if its a Group skill. There is a "trashcan" icon to the right of each skill to delete it.

What's actually stored isn't the skill - but rather the BRPID and you can see this in the tooltip from the skill name. This way if you change the underlying skill or create a version with a higher priority then this is automatically reflected here.

If you see "Invalid" in the skill name it means that the system can't find a match for a skill with the BRPID. Either create the relevant skill or delete it from here.

Optional Skill Groups Click on the "+" icon to the right of "Optional Skill Groups" to create an Optional Group (you can create multiple optional groups) and then enter the number of skills from the list that the player can choose. Drag skills to the group - they will appear and operate in the same way as the "skills" section above. Click on the "-" icon to the left of the particular optional group to delete the group.

Powers Tab

You can drag powers to this section and they will be added to the character when the profession is added.

Wealth Tab

Enter the minimum and maximum wealth levels for the profession. When the profession is added to a character you will get to select the actual Wealth level for the character from these limits.

You can also enter a description on the "Description" tab and GMs have access to a GM Notes tab.

When the Profession is dropped on to a character sheet then the player will be asked to select the relevant skills, powers and wealth level. The skills will be flagged as "Professional" skills - look at the Character Sheet Skills tab when character sheet is unlocked - the skills will have a dark blue background.

Note: If you want to remove the Profession from a character sheet, right click the word "Profession" and choose 'Delete'
