Open the Game Settings > Configure Settings > Basic Role Playing

You will be presented with the following screen:

There are a number of buttons that will open up sub-menus

Power Rules - this controls the powers (Magic, Mutation etc) are configured

Optional Game Rules - controls which Optional Game Rules are implemented

Dice Roll Optional Settings - controls how Dice Rolls are made

Combat Settings - set initiative and other combat settings

XP Options - controls XP checks

NPC Settings - set controls relating to creation and display of NPCs

Character Options - set controls for creation and display of Characters

Game Modifiers - set modifiers in the game and the game icon.

Display Options - change Actor and Item sheets

BRPID Settings - change the settings for BRPIDs

The following settings relate to the individual user rather than the whole world.

Toggle SHIFT click - when you click on a skill etc a dialogue box pops up, and when you SHIFT click the box doesn't show and the default roll options are used. Ticking this box reverses the set up so that the dialogue box only appears if you press SHIFT and click.
