Create a Character - Genii-Locorum/brp GitHub Wiki
Create a new actor and select "Character" as the type.
Enter name, age etc.
You can drag a Profession and Personality from the items to the character sheet. Currently it only populates the title, it doesn't apply skill choices (that will come in future development). Right click on "Profession" or "Personality" to delete these options. Alternatively, if the character sheet is unlocked, you can simply type a Profession or Personality title in if you haven't dragged a relevant item on to the sheet.
Cultures will be added in a future development. For now you can enter a title.
In the "Characteristics" tab enter your stats - these will now show on the front of the character sheet and the "secondary stats" values will be calculated.
Manually input current HP, PP, FP and SAN plus maximum SAN. Max HP, PP and FP values are calculated by the system.
Skills Tab
If your GM has turned on "Starter Skills" your character sheet may automatically have some skills added.
Drag the relevant skills to the character sheet. If the character sheet is unlocked (toggle the padlock icon) you will see a different layout where you can edit the various skill values. Locking the character sheets stops the edits and changes the layout - arranging skills by category. Right clicking the skill name opens a context menu.
Skill Categories are automatically added when a new character is created. If you are missing any you can drag them to the actor sheet. Right clicking on a category will let you edit or delete it.
Right clicking on the "Skills" tab title will give a context menu for XP Developmentif the GM has turned Development mode on.
Combat Tab
Dragging weapons to the character sheet will add them to the weapons section of the Combat tab. This will automatically add the relevant weapon skill to the skills section if you don't already have it. The percentage shown is the relevant skill percentage (e.g. Brawling skill for Fist). Right click the weapon name for a context menu. Clicking the "+" icon to the right of weapon will let you create a new weapon directly on the character sheet.
Drag hit locations to the character sheet, again right clicking gives a context menu. Wounds will be shown by each hit location.
If you are not using hit locations you will see a wounds section instead and then some details about Major Wounds and Armour.
In either case right clicking on the wounds gives a context menu for healing the wound.
Right clicking on the "Combat" Tab title will give a context menu for general healing (not wound specific).
Items Tab
Drag armour and other equipment to the character sheet to add them. Right clicking the item name will open up a context menu. Clicking the "+" icon to the right of armour will let you create a new piece of armour directly on the character sheet.
For equipment there is the "+" icon to add items directly to the sheet and the trashcan icon to delete them. You can drag equipment from the game world items or compendia as well.
Magic/Mutation/Psychics/Sorcery/Superpower Tabs
These tabs will only be visible if you drag the relevant power to the character sheet (and you can only do that if the relevant box is ticked in Game Settings to allow them).
Right clicking the tab name gives you a context menu with an option to view the power and if the character sheet is unlocked to delete the power.
Drag the relevant spell, superpower etc to the character sheet to add it. Right click the spell name, superpower etc for a context menu. Character Failings are shown on the Superpower tab. Power modifiers need to be added to the Superpower, not the character sheet.
Social Tab If using either Allegiances or Reputation then this tab will be shown. Drag the relevant items to the character sheet. Which ones are allowed are configured in game settings.
Pers Tab If using either Personality Traits or Passions then this tab will be shown. Drag the relevant items to the character sheet. Which ones are allowed are configured in game settings.
Characteristics Tab As indicated above this is where you enter the actual stats and modifiers. The options to roll these, controls around min & max values will come in a future development including Cultures.
You will also see XP Bonus here along with Personal and Professional Skill Points spent, total XP acquired plus total encumbrance. You can also enter manual adjustments to maximum HP and PP.
Story Tab There are three sections where you can enter details about your character. The section titles are determined in the Game Settings
