There are two ways to make an Attack Roll

Clicking on the weapon score (%)

• If you click on this you will make the attack roll with a dialogue box popping up and asking for a Difficulty and any Flat Modifier. If you press SHIFT + click the dialogue box will not appear and you make the roll with an Average difficulty and no modifier.

Right click on the weapon name (e.g. Pistol, Blaster)

• This will bring up the context menu and you have the option to select Attack Roll which then triggers the dialogue box mentioned above.

To dodge an attack you can now create a "Dodge" weapon linked to the Dodge skill (this is included in the weapons compendium). Add this to the character sheet and select it for the attack roll. It will behave as above.

Once you have made the roll you will see the a "holding" Chat Message - either a new one or you roll will be added to an existing "open" roll - see Combat Roll for more information on resolving this.
