To make an resistance characteristic roll against another actor (character, NPC) hold ALT and click on the value in the Character (main tab) or NPC sheet (main tab when the sheet is locked).

This will open up a dialog box asking you to enter the

Bonus (enter a penalty as a negative value) - the default is zero. This is the adjustment to the roll (e.g. +5%, -10%, not an adjustment to the resistance value or characteristic such as +1 CON)

You can skip the dialog box by holding SHIFT in addition to ALT when you click the Characteristic score (the default values will be used)

  • If there isn't an open Resistance Roll then a new one is created and this roll will be the active participant.

  • If there is an open roll with only an active participant, then this roll will be added as the passive participant

  • If there is an open roll with two participants then you will get an error message to resolve the open roll

Remember, the active participant needs to be added first/is the first party shown on the chat card. The GM can delete a participant to the roll by clicking on the small cross in a circle icon by the participant. They can cancel the whole role by clicking the "Close Card" button They can finalise the roll by clicking the "Resolve Card" button at which point the dice will be rolled and the results displayed

The result of the Dice Roll will appear in the chat log

Clicking on the Result level (e.g. 'Success: 19' in the screenshot) will expand the results to show the chance of success (resistance) and clicking on the individual participant parts will show the participants bonuses
