NPC Token Creation - Genii-Locorum/aov GitHub Wiki

When you drag an NPC from either a compendium or the Actor directory to a scene it will create a token. Depending on the NPC Settings you've chosen a couple of things can happen.

Stats are randomly rolled using the "Roll" formulae in the NPC Base Stats tab

Stats are rolled using the "Average" formulae in the NPC Base Stats tab

Nothing happens to the NPC stats - they remain unchanged

You are asked which of the three options you want to use.

If none of the Average or Roll stats have a formula (i.e. they are all fixed values) then you won't be asked and nothing will happen.

When the NPC sheet is unlocked you will see two icons under the name - a pair of dice (click on this to generate the stats using the "Roll" formulae) and a set of scales (click on this to generate the stats using the "Average" formulae.
