Homeland determines starting skills, passions, equipment and histories for a character.

Go to the Items Directory

Click on Create item

i. Give the Homeland a name

ii. Select the type "Homeland"

On the 'Details' tab add the following

i. Tick the box if this background means the character is a Mythic User.

ii. Drag any skills (including Skill Groups) to the section headed "Choose any six skills" - this is the list of skill the character can pick from

iii. Drag any passions that the character will start with

iv. Add any starting equipment, other than the "choose two weapons" that the character will start with. The starting weapons are dealt with separately under Character Creation phase.

v. Drag any Family History Roll Tables to the Homeland. When adding the table you will be asked to say if the tables applies to Grandparent, Parent or the Character. These are used in Character Creation Phase.

You can enter a description of the Homeland or add other notes on the "Description" tab

A GM can add additional notes on the "GM Tab" - this is only visible to GMs

Don't forget to add a Chaosium ID
