Family can only be created from a character sheet, and not from the Item Directory. You don't have family on NPCs, Ships or Farms)

1. Go to the Character Sheet and click on the "Family" tab

2. Click on the "+" icon on the Family Header Row

3. On the 'Details' tab add the following

   i. Give the family member a name

   ii. Enter the year the family member was born

   iii. Enter the year the family member was died or leave it blank if they are still alive

   iv. Enter the family member's gender - depending on the game settings this may be free text or a drop down menu

   v. Select the relationship between the family member and the character from the drop down menu

   vi. Enter the spirit animal of the family member

   vii. If the relative counts as a dependent for Skyr production (i.e. they live with you), then tick this box

4. You can enter a description of the family member or add other notes on the "Description" tab

5. A GM can add additional notes on the "GM Tab" - this is only visible to GMs

6. Don't forget to add a Chaosium ID
