Equipment show the gear a character's or NPC has (equipment isn't on Ships or Farms)

1. Go to the Items Directory

2. Click on Create item

   i. Give the piece of Equipment a name

   ii. Select the type "Equipment"

3. On the 'Details' tab add the following

   i. Enter the encumbrance of the item - this is the ENC per item

   ii. Enter the quantity of the item the actor has

   iii. If the item is on an Actor Sheet then you can also select the equipped status. Items that are "Carried" add to the actor's Encumbrance (Stored or Packed items don't)

4. You can add 'Active Effects' on the Effects tab

5. You can enter a description of the piece of equipment or add other notes on the "Description" tab

6. A GM can add additional notes on the "GM Tab" - this is only visible to GMs

Don't forget to add a Chaosium ID
