This datapack intends to add common sense additions like dye mixing or slabs to blocks. Minecraft recipes could use a reboot and this is perfect for that.

Recipes

Block Consistency

Material blocks are normally a storage item as they can be crafted between their block form and their material form. Now recipes have been added to blocks that should function like this as well

Many recipes have now been added to dyes so that you can mix more together as well as 1.20's universal dyeing being backported so it can be used in earlier versions.

An Elytra can now be given armor values by combining it inside a Smithing Table

Things like Cobblestone from Lava and Water or Basalt farming can now be done inside the crafting table as well as outside.

  • This feature doesn't change anything besides the item model
  • Variations are only accessible if you either have the Gen Assets resourcepack applied or if you are using the mod version of Recipes Plus
