List of Current Skills


Resource Gathering

Farming

Learn by using Hoe, Bonemeal, Harvesting(Vanilla Style) Your Skill level may Prevent you from planting certain seeds

Fishing

Learn by using the fishing pole Increasing the skill will provide the player with a higher chance of treasure, and fish Planned: Will make fishing more interactive / fun, and add a bit of skill to use

Mining

Learn by breaking blocks with pickaxe Skill level will determine what blocks you can mine Skill level 50+ player will begin to increase their mining speed up to +25% Skill level 70+ will increase the amt of ore drop chances


Combat

Combat hits work by using the players skill vs parry skill. and damage is based on certain stats, skill levels, and bonuses

Archery

Learn by using the Bow Planned: Damage will increase by crafting new arrow types.

Hand to Hand

Learned by using no weapons, bare hands Increasing this skill will increase your chance to hit.. or critical hit Increasing damage is done by increasing your strength Stat.

Sword

Learned by using swords Increasing this skill will increase your chance to hit.. or critical hit Increasing damage is done by increasing your strength Stat , Weapon type, and Enchantments.

Tactics

This skill is used any time a player uses a weapon combat based skill. Tactics will increase and decrease your damage based on your skill level. Lvl 0 = 50% dmg, while Lvl 100 = 170% dmg. The tactic skill is global so you only have to increase this skill once.

Parry

Parry is your Defense skill, how well you can dodge or take a hit. When a mob attacks their combat skill vs. your parry skill. If you when they do either 0 dmg, or minimal dmg.


Crafting

Blacksmith

Blacksmiths will be able to craft all your metal tools and armor. Including other various items. Smelting currently doesn't require a skill level, but craft does. Mining is well matched with the blacksmith.

Woodworker / Masonry

These guys will be crafting any and all blocks related to wood or stone.

Fletcher

When it comes to bows, these guys make the best. Anything bow related will be crafted from these guys. Bows will be expanded in the base mod, adding new bow types.

Cooking

Cooking will get expanded some so that food will have a bigger purpose. And giving Farmers a reason to increase his skill.
