Use 4x M3x10mm for the bearings in the backplate on the inside. Use 4x M3x12mm for the bearings in the slider on the inner bearings.

Don't forget to push the magnets into their holes Put your sliders aside for now and grab your 3x M3x25mm bolts, M3 nuts, M3 washers and 6x F623ZZ bearings, we'll now start building the belt idler.

The order of the idler assembly is:

  1. M3x25mm bolt
  2. M3 washer
  3. Top vertex
  4. M3 washer
  5. M3 nut
  6. M3 washer
  7. F623ZZ bearing with the flange towards the top vertex
  8. F623ZZ bearing with the flange away from top vertex
  9. M3 washer
  10. M3 nut

Now grab your pulleys and measure how far the center of the idler sticks out from the top vertex, now mount the pulley onto your stepper motors with the same distance as that of your idlers.

Now grab your timing belt and make a small loop on one side and tighten those down with tie-wraps.
