Attendees: Philippe, Paolo, Yunsong, Jonathan.

Philippe: I will be away until August 2nd.

Jonathan: I have focus on Geant4 and will need to look at other project, and circling back to ECP in 3 or 4 weeks.

Yunsong: No update. Should make progress next week.

Philippe: The Brazilian candidate will be interviewed on June 27th. If not successful we should consider tweaking the offer to increase the pool of candidate. For example we could offer the candidate that the location is negotiable and that she could negotiate to be based, at least at first, at LBL or FNAL. This could extent the pool of candidate to those already at LBL or FNAL and that are hesitating about the relocation.

Philippe: FNAL investing GV effort into Geant Exascale Pilot. Enrique from CIC-IPN (Computing Research Center - National Polythecnic Institute) in Mexico will join the effort this summer likely focusing on port Materials and Particle to CUDA.

Philippe: Next meeting in 3 weeks if needed.

Tasks:

• Test geometry navigation on GPU (Guilherme)

• Port/implement Materials classes to CUDA (Enrique/Guilherme)

• Port/implement Particle classes to CUDA (Enrique/Guilherme)

• Connect geometry and material information (Enrique/Guilherme)

• Synchronize magnetic field code with current GeantV.

• Port/extract or mock up magnetic field code.

• (generic) CUDA implementation of Rejection algorithm (Soon)

• Design/Sketch physics process high level interfaces (Jonathan/Soon)

• Port to CUDA one EM physics model/process and/or mock up a simplified one (Soon)

• Extend scheduler to include physics, navigation (Jonathan)

• Add ‘unit’ test for scheduler (Jonathan)

• Extent Track classes, port to CUDA (Seth)

• Annual report (Philippe)

• Roofline analysis setup (starting with GeantV)
