Pertinent information regarding cloth folding machine
Need statement:
It is generally seen during festivals and special occasions that all the clothing shops are very crowded. The salesman and the labour find it difficult to entertain all the customers as organizing the clothes simultaneously is a tedious task. Propose a solution for this problem.
With many apparel options available across thousands of brands, it becomes hard to forecast customer’s preference.
Introduction
Salesmen are annoyed by spending their time in folding clothes. In addition to most of cloth folding machine in market are either for industry use or too expensive. We are trying to build a portable automatic clothes folding machine at a low cost to serve most of the shopkeepers. It is not only combined the metrics from existing products but also have two folding patterns, which is the project is designed to meet the needs of folding clothes for shopkeepers. Most of the more convenient and efficient.

1. The existing solutions for the problem.
a. Automatic Folding Machine FX23:
Fx23 is an automatic folding platform that can easily fold lots of clothes in a short time.It is really easy to operate with just two buttons. One of its strong merits is that it can store those folded clothes. However, it is an industrial product not suited for a household environment The cost of FX-23 is around 72,000.

b. Foldimate
The foldimate is slightly larger than a standard washing machine. According to the developers it can fold in less than 4 minutes. The user clips the piece of clothing on two hooks and the item is pulled into the machine. The machine can fold shirts, tops, trousers and dresses, but not small pieces of clothing like underwear or large items sheets. The folded items are returned in a stack through a window at bottom of the machine. FoldiMate Folding Machine is a robotic clothes folding machine which can easily handle most of types of clothes including pants, shirts and towels with its easy clipping function. Moreover, FoldiMate enables internet connection which largely improves user experience. It would cost about 50,000-55,000

c. DIY home made cloth folding machine.
The cloth folding machine shown in the above snap is made of wood. The machine uses gear mechanism and links to move the 3 doors which on moving back and forth folds the clothes. The machine is fully automatic; it can fold only shirts, t-shirts and trousers. This DIY machine needs electricity to fold the clothes. It could fold one at a time and can store maximum of 20 clothes. And it reduces human effort and time as well, and is affordable
