HVS Installation Instructions

Chrome

  1. Download 'HVS_chrome_[version].crz'.
  2. Go to Menu > More Tools > Extensions. Or simply go to chrome://extensions/
  3. Check the box for 'Developer Mode'
  4. Drag and Drop 'HVS_chrome_[version].crx' into the extensions page and then click to on "add extension" in the popup window.

Firefox

Download 'HVS_firefox_[version].xpi' Either open the file with Firefox, or drag it into an open Firefox window to install.

Opera

First, you will need to install this extension (it allows you to install Chrome Webstore extensions): https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/download-chrome-extension-9/

Alternate install methods

Opera [Manual Install]

Download 'HVS_opera_[version].nex' Double click or 'Right Click > Open With...' and choose Opera as the default handler You will need to visit the Extension page to enable the extension.

Chrome [Webstore]

Simply install from the Webstore. Using one of those links below:

Updating Webstore Install

The webstore install should update automatically. If for some reason it does not you can follow the steps below to force it to update.

  1. Goto your extensions tab: chrome://extensions/
  2. Click "Update extensions now"
  3. Double check the extension is updated (it's version number will change) and that it's enabled (if a release needs additional permissions, chrome will automatically disable the extension).
