Brief - Summarise what the website is about

Instisap.com is a result of David L Page’s and Harsha B Patel's life work to date across multiple industries, and via multiple disciplines. instisap.com represents the amalgamation of a lifetime of experiences - professional and self-initiated research investigations across many decades regarding: what motivates people to take action, to express, and to make-meaning. Essentially, how people learn, and how this process informs their self. Their holistic ecological approach, coupled with their extensive industry-based practical experience, provides a unique (praxis) perspective.

SWOT Analysis

Strengths: David is a teacher and got a good amount of connection for promo his website and book, which will really help for the beginning for correct data, of how people respond to the website

Weaknesses: Although the website will add up with more information and product later on, but its hard to get new customers to visit the site if they didn't know about who is David in this state.

Opportunities: It promising that David got more and more event coming up soon, and that will help the website to stand up more compare to another similar website that also selling books.

Threats: People are more comfortable to buy their books in a bigger website company alike Amazon or another book store that included more review and related book products. There are many other similar websites. Need more information to show the customers the trust of our website, there are many scam website nowadays that claim to be selling one or two items and mainly trying to steal people credit card numbers.

User test results User Testing was performed on an interactive mock-up using Adobe XD. The group of people that were used ranged in age and gender all of whom did fit into the target demographic. Making all participants potential customers. They were asked to complete a few small usability tasks such as making their way to the blog and adding items to the cart and proceeding through the checkout. All tasks were completed very quickly and without confusion. They were then asked questions about the site’s security and whether or not they trusted the website. All once again agreed the site had a safe and positive presence. When asked about possible changes they wanted to be made is when a design questions where deemed to need change. Originally, we only had the clicking of the logo as the way to return home, but multiple people wanted a dedicated home button. The other thing that was of major importance was that they were not exactly clear on what the website was about.
The goal of our user testing was to determine whether or not we achieved our goal of creating a vibrant and easy to use the website. What made you want to find out more and even get you all the way to purchasing. Testing is also important to get an outside perceptive on the website as sometimes you can overlook something simple just because you are closer to the project.

Changes

Changes made after the user testing where small but quite important as one of them addressed the fact that many of the users did not understand what the website was about. This was fixed by changing the tag line on the landing page and about a small paragraph about INSTISAP on the home page. The other being the addition of a dedicated Home button in the navigation bar. Both quite easy fixes and the user testing really put us in the right

Online Marketing strategies

We use Monster Insights, WooCommerce dashboard/ Analytics and Google Analytics (Need Authorization) Those plugins allow the client to check on how many products they sell in each day and month, and when and where did the customer open their website.

The strategies are to check on how many visitors that increase every time they post something online, ad they use and event they did to promo Instisap. Depends on the result, they should able to focus on what is working best for their situation. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to set up Google Analytics on time, so that might be the only solution at the moment. But for further development, I hope that I can get more information in that area, in order to help the client to get the best result.

My opinion for the Ad choice is a book review website that can help promo their book and maybe they can get someone to read their book and made a video (Youtube or Facebook). Or add a QR code for customers to check on the website when they are doing an event.
