This is a page for people to openly jot down useful additions to the Rinzler. Just add them to the list!

• A temperature sensing node for the roboard, maybe use this to activate a fan to circulate the air inside the tube aswell.

• independent roboard inside the tube to act as a streamer for the camera to the ITX board or to do some vision processing. If this did happen then a network switch would be required inside the tube.

• Another camera on one of the wings of the sub. The front facing camera would be used in addition to the sonar to find the buoy (for cable cutting). But this year the sub has to orbit the buoy before cutting it. As we have no lateral movement, we could use a camera on one of the wings to keep the buoy in the center whilst moving around it.

• Last year we got caught on the cable of the gates. Ivan(HW) suggested putting steel cable on the nose going to the end of the wings to stop us getting caught on the cable so easily.

• GG - I was thinking of using the ROS Android stuff. We could use the GPS in the phones to construct a map of the dock in x,y, it could help us navigate without the course without the guess work?
