This instruction explains how to get started with Google Cloud Web GUI. If you are already using google cloud, feel free to skip it and jump to the next parts:

Go to https://cloud.google.com

Press top right on a user's image - add new account

Sign up with your existing account (it’s quicker) or create a new one. For real deployments we advise creating a dedicated company account, in this tutorial we will use [email protected]

Press [CONSOLE] in top right

Agree with terms of service as shown (this is important, without this the project won’t get created)

Press SIGN UP FOR FREE TRIAL in top right. Agree to the terms of service as shown

Enter your personal details and credit card (You have 300 $ in free google cloud credits, which is plenty to perform this tutorial and beyond. But you should keep track of when credits go down and you may start paying). Result:

A new project should have been auto-created for you

Go to billing — see “My First Project” should be connected to billing account
