1.) In the class assignment issued, it really opened up how creating a new idea or play-style from an established model can be. With the statement being about card games. A lot of ideas can come to mind because they have been around forever, but trying to make a new one that is different from those that already exist then becomes a problem. When people are so accustomed to one format or style that the concept of making a new one from it can be rather tricky if originality is desired. This I see can and is a problem many game companies face in game genres when making a new title as to how it will be different than its predecessors.

2.) Over the week I got another new game, known as Dragon Quest XI for the Nintendo DS. Playing the previous titles this one stuck out to me rather strongly through the open ended way to assemble your team. While most of the other title have set players and character classes, DQ XI allows the player to choose any class for themselves and their party members. This addition is a good idea since the player can have more control of their play-through by choosing their own play-style. This allows it to be a lot more re-playable since you are able to change how you play through it each time.
