1.This past week I've really been thinking about how best to approach the project. When working with an established game adding new aesthetics and components just seems hard because the baseline is almost always set up in a way where it doesn't need any new additions to the game. Looking into this really helped all of us think how to approach the subject and thin outside the box. The result I feel will be rather enjoyable but will have to wait and see.

  1. After a long wait the company Obsidian finally released their newest title, Outer Worlds. After getting some time to try out the title I truly felt what Bethesda has been lacking all this time and finally got it back since their release of Fallout: New Vegas, player choice and consequences. Just going through the first zone alone you can start to feel the weight of your actions, be they good or bad. Using a moral system one can improve their relations with factions by helping and hindering their townsfolk which will have lasting effects on the game world and the player's interactions. This tool allows the game to be re-playable often because there are so many choices to be made that will affect the ending.
