  1. After finally breaking down, I tried the popular game known as Fortnite. Comparing the game to most in the battle royale genre, it seems to pretty easy and potentially addicting to play. The core mechanic is outliving all other players until you are the last one, which is fairly difficult with 99 other players. A bonus to the game, however, is that the actual mechanics are pretty easy to learn with simple tutorials. The added benefit the game introduced was their build mechanic which allows players to build forts on the move while fighting, which adds a layer of interest since now you have to shoot, dodge, and build. Interestingly enough that addition does add challenges both for you and the enemy since traps and barriers can be used to influence how the landscape appears.

  2. Finishing up the witch trial game really showed how much doubt one can place on another and easy it is to deceive. That said in a more serious light the subject of serious topics in games is a rather interesting one. While many use games as an escape from reality, that same concept can be used to help another view reality from the lenses of another, which can affect how they view things afterwards since they would not have had the chance to. The problem with such a idea is that with so many thoughts and ideas that the individual has, the intended message to be seen might not always be viewed correctly.
