Introduction

This document describes the User Interface of Age of Empires - Jigoku do.

About this document

This document is divided in the following parts:

  • Structure and Navigation, describes the structure of the application and in which way players will navigate
  • Screen descriptions, detailed information about each page.

Structure and Navigation

The overall structure of the application is relatively simple, as shown in the following diagram.

There are three primary pages, each one can be accessed from the menu.

Page descriptions

Menu

There are four buttons in this page:

  • Campaign, to start/load campaign
  • About, here are the credits page
  • Options, options setup
  • Exit, closes the aplication
Campaign

Here we see basic info about the mission.

  • Objectives
  • Important characters
  • And other needful information and tips
Three buttons: back goes to the main menu, start begins the mission and load starts an old mission.

Ingame

  • Resources display gives information about the resources you dispose to spend.
  • In-game notifications alerts the player about what is happening in the world.
  • Basic utilities displays buttons to interact with units, buildings and the world.
  • The info section gives the player info about basic stats of a unit or a building, production queue of a building and displays the units selected.
  • Villager assignment UI is a window displayed to assign villagers to the different jobs.
Resume of the mission

Here are displayed the final statistics once you finish a mission.

Options

Here will go some options to configure the game. BUT config will be cutoff if the production goes long and there is no more time to finish the project.

In the future if some more UI is needed it will be added in this document.
