[!WARNING] This page is under construction and may be incomplete.

πŸ“‹ Prerequisites

  • A USB flash drive with a minimum capacity of 8GB.
  • balenaEtcher

[!CAUTION] We recommend using balenaEtcher instead of Ventoy when flashing the ISO. Using Ventoy sometimes seems to block the installation ISO at β€œstep 1” of the boot process, but this is not systematic or specific to GLF-OS

πŸ«† Checksum Verification (Optional but recommended)

  1. Download the checksum file from one of the download links.
  2. Use a checksum verification tool to compare the downloaded file with the provided checksum.

Make the USB bootable

  1. Plug in your USB drive: Insert the USB drive into your computer.
  2. Open balenaEtcher: Launch the Balena Etcher application.
  3. Select the ISO: Click Flash from file, then select the GLF-OS ISO.
  4. Select the USB drive: Click Select target, then choose your USB drive.
  5. Flash the ISO: Click Flash! and wait for the operation to complete.

You are now ready to install GLF-OS. πŸŽ‰
