A pale sphere looms over Kerbal-kind since time immemorial, lighting their nights and stirring their oceans. Affectionately called Mün, it hosts pleasant suprises waiting to be found, like high hanging fruit in the tree of their back yard.
The Mun is the first of many worlds possessing 5 variants of crater biomes, some of which are so small and far apart that they are easily presumed to not exist. The Mun has in total 10 biomes and is largely composed of Alumina, with its Hydrates and Water stores concentrated in or near the poles.
