Duna - Galileo88/JNSQ GitHub Wiki
Duna is a curiously warm-colored planet. Its surprising lack of atmosphere clashes strongly with its ability to host what very surely are ice caps. The Kerbal Astronomical Society is confident that Duna is very approachable, in great constrast to Eve, and so is eager to launch the first several crewed expeditions in this general direction ASAP.
Duna is one of the biggest examples of why you should forget what you know about the stock planets when you install and try JNSQ. Being made much more like the real planet Mars, it becomes expectantly unapproachable with chutes alone. Its custom Rational Resources configuration arranges resources to meet the expectations of some Mars ISRU projects adapted for play in KSP.
Rational Resources Classification:
Ocean | Surface | Atmosphere | Exosphere |
---|---|---|---|
None | Custom | Default* | None |
*Default (CO2/N2) atmosphere template contains an exosphere template.
