Increase FlySky FS‐i6X from 6 to 10 channels - GSTCH/SketchMadeEASY GitHub Wiki

The FlySky factory settings are configured to 6 channels. Many posts into the Internet suggest loading a hacked firmware to increase channels. This is not necessary! It is possible with some changes in the configuration. Here is the description how to change the configuration.

Open menu by press OK

Enable all

First enable all switches and buttons: System setup --> Aux switches (last item into the List)

• Change field: OK
• Change value: UP/DOWN
• Save: LONG CANCEL

Assign channels

Second step is to assign the controls to the channels: Functions setup --> Aux. channels

• Change field: OK
• Change value: UP/DOWN
• Save: LONG CANCEL To use the 10 channels, a receiver with iBus (like FS-iA6B) has been required.

Check firmware version

Any problems? Check firmware version: Main menu -> System --> Firmware ver.

• Select: OK
• Go back: CANCEL
• Scroll: UP/DOWN
