The command line

After installing GLOBIO 4 (see the Installation Guide) the model can be run by the command globio4.

In Windows open a command window and type the following command:

globio4

You should see a message like this (date and versions may differ):

Command line options

When running the command globio4 the following options and arguments can be used:

  -help      shows the help message
  -doc       gives an overview of the defined constants and global variables and 
             their values, and the available impact calculations
  -debug     shows additional debug information during a run, this option 
             overrides settings in the configuration file
  -version   shows the build version
  file       the configuration file (.glo) with the run parameters
