Problem

Students at Universidad de los Andes often have gaps between classes but struggle to find an actually available and suitable space to study, rest, or meet. During peak hours, popular spots fill up quickly and there is no reliable, centralized visibility of free rooms, causing wasted time, stress, lower productivity, and overcrowding in common areas.

Proposed Solution

A mobile app (Andespace) that shows time-based availability of campus rooms/spaces and helps students quickly choose a suitable option based on their needs (study, rest, tutoring) and context. It can use schedule upload to detect free gaps, recommend nearby rooms, display key room attributes (capacity, outlets, equipment), and include reporting/personalization features (favorites/history) to improve reliability and speed.
