MOTOR AND BATTERY SIZING OF THE SYSTEM -

MOTOR SIZING :

We are using 1 Brushless motor for movement.

T = M x A x D/2

where, T = Torque M = Mass A = Acceleration D = Diameter

CALCULATION :

1. Mass = 500g = 0.5kg
2. Force = m x g = 500*9.8= 4900N
3. Torque = F x r = 4900*16 = 7.84kg-cm

Hence, we have selected a brushless motor of 15rpm.

BATTERY SIZING :

As we are using a brushless motor which is powered by arduino.

Operating voltage of arduino nano = 5-12V

Hence, the required adaptor specifications is 12V.
