This wiki reflects on a 2018 Bloomberg report by Jordan Robertson and Michael Riley. Many now believe that the report was dubious and served to sell subscriptions or even more nefarious, deepen global tensions between China and U.S relations.

The Shape of Things To Come

According to Microsoft, the U.S. was the target of 46 percent of cyberattacks in 2020, more than double any other country. In the same year, the Cisco Cyber Security Benchmark reports that "Cyber fatigue, or apathy to proactively defending against cyberattacks, affects as much as 42 percent of companies.

Dubious or not, the Bloomberg report couldn't have come at a better time. The forces that are at play at either side of the table need leverage, and with A.I capabilities literally talking to us from our doormats, we need to acknowledge, and brace for what's to come.
