Siemens Mobility - FresnoSubber/Fresno-and-Co.-Trainbuild-Tomfuckery GitHub Wiki

The railroad-based operations of Siemens AG were started up in 1903 as Siemens-Schuckert, after Siemens & Halske acquired Schuckertwerke. We don’t really talk much about them other than the fact that they built more airplanes than trains.

Okay so fast forward ALL the way to 1989 and you get Siemens Mobility, but it didn’t really become Siemens Mobility until like 2018 or something like that. Whatever.

While Siemens’s first locomotive for the U.S. was the ACS64 in 2014, Siemens entered the North American Railroad Market in 1984 with multiple light rail vehicles, namely the U2.
