The SE15B, later the NZE15B, is Knoxville’s response for a heavy duty switcher/light duty branchline worker. It is for this reason why railroads like the Napa Valley Wine Train and SEPTA went for these engines, for their proven reliability. They can have the old NRE Cab, or can be an end-cab switcher.
